Breaking the mold of traditional Bonsai display, these sculptures merge Jewish and Israeli artistic and cultural elements with different aspects of modern bonsai culture.
The Exhibition took place in the Chasid Gallery in Jerusalem, Israel.
It was featured on Bored Panda.
Suspended in mid-air, this sculpture explores the intertwining spiritual significance of the natural and the artificial.
The model sitting at the top is a scale replica of the Jerusalem neighborhood in which I live, and the tree is a six decade old juniper from the Jerusalem Botanical Garden collection. Resting atop this symbol of humanity’s attempt at bringing the spirit of nature into the home, is my home. A home that is sacred on many levels, some of which draw from nature, and some that stand in opposition to it.

The olive tree used in this sculpture is estimated to be more than 1500 years old. And it was very close to being trash.
It is a root that was salvaged from a grove that was relocated to make room for an industrial complex. most of the wood remaining went to be used as fire wood, but this one was salvaged, and made into art.
The rest of the piece is made of found materials that were in the trash and, like the tree, were salvaged and made into art.
This piece explores how our attention and decision making differentiates between what is raised up and what is thrown away. The olive and the electronics are iconic of objects considered both sacred and useless, depending on the context, time period and individual in modern and ancient Israel.

Revelation of Genesis is the first series of Judaica art produced by Itamar Conforti’s Yood Studio.
Inspired by the momentous events of the creation as described in the book of Genesis, these solid bronze sculptural candle holders seek to give a taste of creation to the lighter of the candles and a shade of “Maase Bereshit” the summit of which was the seventh day, Shabbat.

Prominent (action) figures.
This conceptual toy series seeks to familiarize prominent historical figures to children without being pedagogical. Each figure has a prop that loosely is connected to it (like the Davidka cannon for Ben Gurion), but they are all modular and parts from every set can be used globally.
Zoomer is ride on toy designed to evolve with the child as they grow. At it's first stage it is a stable, sleek tricycle. The second stage is a balance bike, allowing the child to start developing balance with a toy they're familiar with and fits their size.
A coffee table that explores the relationship between inside and out, core and exterior.
The inner part is manipulated found material, and the outside is 6 mm glass and iron.
Presented in Bezalel Academy of art and Design | May 2017
This table, made of glass and iron, is the spiritual sequel to the "Outside-In" tables. As the iron rises from it's natural, misshapen and rusty form, it joins together into a squared, polished leg, holding up the glass surface. As it approaches the top it is tamed, even allowed to "protrude" the glass, but only just so.

This zero-waste picnic set contains everything needed to have a lovely time in nature. After all is done, it transforms into a tree planting kit, complete with a shovel and a sleeve to help the tree grow.
The system protects and helps new trees grow, replenishing the grove.
A collaboration with Lublinsky knife makers, this blade was fitted with a handle crafted from a Shofar, a ram's horn.
The Horn was heat molded to be ergonomic while retaining as much of the original look as was possible.
Made of simple materials, steel and pine, this bench is designed for public spaces. Whether indoors or outdoors, it allows for and promotes conversation.
The bench was displayed at Mitcham Ha-Tachana in Jerusalem and is now placed in the main public area in Bezalel Academy.
